World Hearing Day – 3 March 2025

World Hearing Day is an annual global advocacy event for raising awareness regarding hearing loss and promoting ear and hearing care and calling for action to address hearing loss and related issues. Each year, this event is celebrated on 3 March, covering a specific theme on which the World Health Organization and its partners carry out activities based on this theme.

The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign jet started from the 25th November and 10th December 2024 under the theme: “30 Years of Advancing Collective Action to End Violence Against Women and Children”. This year’s campaign emphasizes addressing the root causes of GBVF, promoting positive masculinity, promoting gender equity, and creating economic opportunities for women and children. At its core, the theme aims to accelerate and amplify multisectoral and whole-of-society accountability.
